Athora Netherlands sells retail complex in Brunssum to private investor

Athora Netherlands is selling a retail complex on the Kerkstraat in Brunssum to a private investor. This sale is in line with the strategy of the institutional investor to divest retail real estate and to focus on offices, logistics and residential real estate with a pan-European focus.

The shopping complex houses eight stores in the center of the South Limburg city, including a recently modernized Jan Linders supermarket with a new long-term lease.

"The continuing interest of investors in supermarkets is also evident from this," says Michiel Boonen, Associate Director of Capital Markets at Colliers International. "It doesn't matter if this is in the south or north of the country."

Colliers acted as an advisor on behalf of the seller. Retail Capital advised the buyer.
