Scotch & Soda has concluded a long-term lease at Oudegracht 121 in Utrecht. They rent more than 500 sqm on the ground floor and first floor in historic city castle Groot Blankenburgh.
The Dutch fashion company has been located on Keizersgracht in Amsterdam since its inception in 1985. There are now more than 94 stores and more than 7,000 points of sale worldwide. The organization aims to work with more attention to the planet, and therefore to be less harmful to the environment.
In Groot Blankenburgh, two existing branches on Choorstraat and Lange Elisabethstraat will be merged. The new location in the center of Utrecht is one of the oldest resilient houses in the city. It was built in the thirteenth century and was last renovated in 2015. The central location and appearance of the historic building suits Scotch & Soda well.
Colliers International and Bruning De Goede Vastgoedregisseurs represented the landlord in this transaction. Scotch & Soda was advised by McDevitt.
