Hoofddorp has the scoop in the Netherlands. This week, the NinetyNine hotel concept opened its doors in the municipality. This modern and sustainable brand is part of the German Centro Hotel Group. NinetyNine Hotel Amsterdam Airport is the result of a major transformation of the old 5,300 sqm office building at Kruisweg 601. The 138-room hotel has been given an urban jungle theme.
In addition to NinetyNine, Centro also owns the Centro Hotels, FourSide and Boutique brands. The group currently has more than eighty hotels and over 8,000 rooms in Western Europe. The company has the ambition to continue to grow in Europe in the coming years.
It is also a first for property owner Control Towers International (CTI). This is the first hotel of the investor who is mainly a well-known player in the logistics sector. CTI has signed a 25-year lease with the hotel group.
After years of preparations and a thorough renovation, the hotel was ready in the week that stricter corona measures were once again announced for catering and hotels. This did not stop the initiators from opening and receiving the first guests.
Colliers International has assisted owner CTI with this transaction.
