Nedlloyd Pensioensfonds extends lease in Willemswerf Rotterdam

Nedlloyd building with view over the Maas

Nedlloyd Pensioenfonds signed again a long-term lease for their office space in Willemswerf in Rotterdam. The pension fund will rent 533 sqm at the Boompjes 40 for the coming years.

Since 1971, Nedlloyd Pensioenfonds manages all pensions of employees who worked at one of the companies that belonged to the former Royal Nedlloyd. The Koninklijke Nedlloyd is the result of a merger of the largest Dutch shipping companies in 1970. In 1997 a new merger resulted in P&O Nedlloyd, in 2004 the company was taken over by the Danish Maersk-Sealand.

The Willemswerf head office was developed and realized in 1988. The more than 90 meter high building on the Nieuwe Maas is a characteristic part of the Rotterdam skyline. The employees have a view over the Maas.

Colliers has assisted Nedlloyd Pensioenfonds. Cushman & Wakefield advised landlord a.s.r. real estate.
