Oaktree acquires High Tech Campus Eindhoven

High Tech Campus Eindhoven

The High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (HTCE) has been sold by Marcel Boekhoorn to American investment company Oaktree Capital Management. The closing of the transaction will take place around September/October this year.

Housing 235 high tech companies and 12,000 international researchers, developers and business people, HTCE is a vibrant ecosystem and a global hotspot in the areas of Health & Vitality, Sustainability, Applied Intelligence, Smart Environments & Connectivity and Software & Platforms. Well-known companies like Philips, NXP and Intel develop their new product here. There are 40 building on the campus totalling 275,000 square meters.

Oaktree is a global investment company specializing in alternative investments, with $156 billion in assets under management. The firm has over 1,000 employees and offices in 19 cities worldwide. “We are excited to be able to invest in HTCE, one of the best science & technology parks in Europe.
