Daan Potjer new COO Colliers

On June 22, Daan Potjer (48) will start as the new Chief Operating Officer at Colliers International. He will be responsible for the operational management of the organization, the implementation of process optimizations and legal & compliance. He will also be actively involved in Colliers' M&A activities and the integration of the various teams within EMEA.

Daan has more than 20 years of experience in professional services and was active as COO at Dynamic Credit Group for the last seven years. At this asset manager and lender, he was also responsible for operational management, streamlined processes and led HR, IT and risk management. Before that he worked as director at bakery Simon Meijssen and as managing partner at Aethra Asset Management. After studying economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and the London School of Economics, he started his career as an investment strategist and later Head of Asset Allocation at ABN AMRO.

He is a real connector and gets people along with his enthusiasm, ”says CEO Dirk Bakker. “He has a lot of financial knowledge, experience with digitization processes and M&A projects. In short, a perfect addition to our team and for me he opens up the space for further expansion of Colliers in the Netherlands.
