Retail units in building Xavier Zuidas fully let

IEF Real Estate Services has leased the last retail unit of the "Xavier" building on Gustav Mahlerlaan to the optical store XO Optics. With this transaction, the commercial spaces of the Xavier building are fully let. The commercial spaces were completed in Q2 2019 by Zuidschans C.V. as part of the Xavier residential building on the Zuidas. The shops vary in size from approximately 50 sq m to approximately 100 sq m and are leased to Leonidas, BACK Food, XO Optics and Noë Boulangerie. All stores have energy label A.
The new tenants have chosen this location because of the business and international appearance of the Zuidas. The high-quality concepts tie in well with the growing need of the various target groups and visitor motives in this part of the city.

Leonidas is known for its selection of high-quality Belgian chocolate. In addition to the Leonidas range, artisan ice cream is also sold at the Gustav Mahlerlaan location. BACK combines healthy food with high-quality fresh ingredients. In addition to take away, this concept also offers seats where guests can enjoy their fresh meals. XO Optics is a new entrant to the optics industry. The optician in the higher segment is specialized in eye care and qualified professionals provide extensive advice. The store on Gustav Mahlerlaan is the first store of this luxury brand. Noe Boulangerie & Patisserie is a French organic bakery. The range is rich in traditional French recipes supplemented with varying breads and patisseries that are composed by the in-house bakers and confectioners.

IEF was advised by Colliers International on the lease.
