Hutspot opens new store in Magna Plaza

Magnaplaza 554 x 310

Hutspot opens its sixth store in Magna Plaza in Amsterdam. The store is situated in the basement of the building and holds an inspiring 700 sqm space and will open on 22 June.

Hutspot originates from Amsterdam and is a pioneer of the blurring concept by combining the sale of unique products with a lunchroom and a barbershop. Hutspot offers a stage to talented designers and entrepreneurs which add to the unique experience of their customers. There are two other stores in Amsterdam and a number of shops in Utrecht, Rotterdam and Eindhoven.

The new store of Hutspot fits with the repositioning of Magna Plaza. At the moment, the number of retail concepts is being adjusted so it is fitting for visitors. In April of this year, a food court called The Food Department was opened with 14 restaurants and 3 bars. A number of these concepts are: Brut de Mer, van 't Spit, Petit Gateau and the Butcher.

Pieter Jongens van Hutspot: 'It is super cool to open our sixth store in the most iconic buildings of the Netherlands. The repositioning of Magna Plaza via innovation, experience and place-to-be made us decide to become part of it. The presence of The Food Department at the top floor is crucial to answer to the needs of consumers'.

Colliers International is the exclusive partner of the repositioning of Magna Plaza and advised MP Monumenten N.V. with this transaction.
