Syntrus Achmea sells shopping center Gooische Brink in Hilversum

The Gooische Brink shopping center in Hilversum has been sold by Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance (SAREF) to local investor Eelko van Kooten. After the sale of his dance label Spinnin 'Records, the born Hilversummer focused on investments in real estate, among other things. In collaboration with developer E.CP and ID Bedrijfsmakelaars, van Kooten wants to establish links with Hilversum and the media.

The Gooische Brink, consisting of 16,000 sq m, is spread over several locations in the center of Hilversum. Not only retail is offered in the shopping center. You will also find restaurants, offices and homes. In addition to a number of local entrepreneurs, larger brands such as Basic Fit, BCC, Leonidas and Bakker Bart are also established.

The shopping center, designed by architect Hans Ruysenaars, opened in 1998 and is, after Hilvertshof, the largest shopping center in Het Gooi. In 2008 the shopping center was renovated on behalf of SAREF.

Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance was assisted in the sales process by Colliers International. Buyer Eelko van Kooten was advised by E.CP and ID Bedrijfsmakelaars.
