Director Business Development
In November 2020 I joined Colliers as Director Business Development. In this role I am responsible for the contacts and relationships with the investors of real estate in Rotterdam, The Hague and surroundings. My focus is on the Agency department including all leasing, purchase and sale activities. However Asset Services, Design and (re)Development or any other business lines providing services or solutions for real estate issues will have my full attention.
A two years period as Managing Director of Groot Handelsgebouw in Rotterdam, the largest monumental building of The Netherlands consisting of 120,000 s.qm LFA and housing over 450 companies, brought many challenges during the period Sep 2018- Oct 2020. The daily management of the team (10 people) and being responsible for the asset as well as the property management brought all my real estate experience together in one role.
Prior to working on the investor side I worked as an advisor at JLL. After several years working as property manager, I switched in 2006 to the Agency department of JLL in Rotterdam of which I became head of the Agency department in Rotterdam in 2015. My main responsibilities exsisted of advising corporates, developers, occupiers and investors of real estate on diverse complex real estate issues in Rotterdam, The Hague and surroundings. Advise on leasing, disposal, buying or renegotiating of contracts were key drivers in my job.
During the period I was Managing Director of Groot Handelsgebouw, the building has been sold within 1.5 years with an added value of 120 million euro. I am proud to have been part of this huge transaction and to have been able to add value by increasing rents an pro-actively renegotiate contracts.
Renegotiating lease contract of Unilever for Weena 455 (22,000 s.qm LFA) on behalf of tenant.
Leasing head quarters to Coolblue in Central Plaza in Rotterdam (8,000 sq.m LFA) on behalf of the landlord.
Leasing on behalf of the landlord 5,000 sq.m to Holiday Inn Express in Weeenahuis in close coperation with Colliers advising the tenant.

Since 2018 I am part of the agency team in the greater Rotterdam real estate market, advising landlords and investors. My focus is on Offices. My daily work consists of letting transactions and mid cap transactions.
I started as Junior Asset Manager by Chalet Group. As Junior Asset Manager my (commercial) focus was on a real estate portfolio (+ 100 million) in the greater region of South-Holland. My daily task was to add value to our assets in South-Holland. My main responsibilities exsisted off contracting new tenants, renegotiating excisting tenants, contact with property management (extern) and make plans to (re)develop our assets.
I wrote my thesis on the Rotterdam office investment market at Chalet Group during my Real Estate Management study.
Real Estate Advisor Industrial & Logistics
As a member of the Industrial & Logistics team for the Netherlands, i use my local expertise, large international network, and industry knowledge to meet and exceed the needs of my clients both nationally & internationally. I am responsible for the region Great Rotterdam and am involved in all aspects of the Industrial & Logistics field, ensuring that we are offering a complete solution that acknowledges the client's current and future needs.
In November 2020 I completed my master's degree in Tax Law at Erasmus University of Rotterdam. During my studies I worked as a 'trainee' at a law firm and a tax consultancy office. After completing my master's degree in Tax Law, I started to orientate myself on the Rotterdam real estate market and I ended up at Colliers.
That is why I joined Colliers as a real estate advisor . In this role I am responsible for the rental or sale of commercial real estate in the greater region of South-Holland.
In February 2021 I started at Colliers as an intern at Agency Rotterdam. In this role I will be researching the influence of Generation Z on the office market. In addition, I supporting my team with activities relating to rental, purchase and sale activities.
