What is BOMA BEST?

It is known as an initiative of environmental standards that began in 2005 in Canada by the Association of Owners and Administrators of Buildings (Building Owners and Managers Assosiation, BOMA), with the firm intention of satisfying the real need within the sector to have a series of realistic standards regarding the energy and environmental performance of buildings and the companies that occupy them and channel them into an accurate and independently verified information base. The acronym of BEST refers to the acronym of Building Enviromental Standards.

The BOMA BESt buildings are operated in a much more efficient way, reducing their operating costs, increasing the value of their assets and leasing to third parties, promoting protection and environmental preservation with this achieves a real sustainability.
