Awards and Recognition

Podgorica - After receiving the award for Best Property Consultancy Company in Montenegro, Colliers International Montenegro was awarded the Best Property Consultancy Company in Europe at the International Property Award Summit held in London at the end of 2015. This award has been regarded as one of the most prestigious and world renowned recognitions for real estate companies for 21 years. The judging process is done by 70 experts in the world of real estate, and the rating process focuses mainly on the quality of services provided. The judging panel was chaired by Lord Caithness and Lord Best, members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.

This accolade is a result of invested effort in the previous year, as well as our devotion to the best interests of our clients in previous years, from when the Montenegrin office first opened its doors in 2007, to today. We also take a lot of pride in the fact that this is the first time that a company from the Balkan region was awarded such recognition. Being one of the first to receive an award in real estate, we’ve gained the right to compete with other awarded countries from Europe, Asia, America, Africa and the United Kingdom for the Best in the World award in this area.
During our nine years working in Montenegro as a globally recognized consultancy company in real estate, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with all larger international and local investors and banks, as well as the state sector.

Colliers International Montenegro is part of the Colliers International group that operates in 67 countries across the world in over 500 offices and employs over 16,000 people. The Colliers International Group Inc. is a part of the NASDAQ exchange under the name CIGI, as well as the Toronto Stock Exchange under CIG. As an equal member of a large company, we share our expertise, infrastructure, methods and procedures with Colliers teams across the world, mainly with other teams from the EMEA region. Therefore, we feel confident and capable of taking up big challenges and complex tasks and research in the field of real estate consulting.

Our mission isn’t only to achieve good business results, but also present the investment potential Montenegro has among Colliers International partners and clients. The attractive projects, locations and clients we’ve represented over the years have garnered the attention of investors and companies that participated in this year’s International Property Award Summit, who now see Montenegro as a new and very attractive destination for investments. For these reasons we regard the Best Property Consultancy Company Award as not just a success for our team, but also for as a great achievement for Montenegro.

The annual Global investor outlook survey (GIO) for 2016 published by the Colliers Group indicates that the following year will bring a significant increase in the real estate sector relative to fixed return investments. The next 3-5 years are forecast to bring over 400 billion dollars in real estate investments. Europe will remain the No.1 destination for most investors that will strive to achieve a good return on investment, which is also an opportunity for Montenegro that is already recognized as a desirable investment destination.
