New distribution centre at Tīraines str. 11 in Riga, by VGP

A bird's eye view of a logistics park with a white roof

The new distribution centre by VGP is strategically located in a perfect logistic spot at Riga border (Tiraines street 11):

On the one hand, it's located in few minutes drive from the Riga ring road, on the other hand, after the completion of the last phase of the Southern bridge soon, it grands an excellent gateway to any part of Riga. It's easily accessible by public transport and the neighbourhood of Ziepniekkalns gives access to the labour pool with great accessibility to the distribution centre.
The total building area reaches almost 30,000 m2 with completion in March 2023. The office is designed on three floors with a spacious rooftop terrace and complemented by a stylish, loft-style ground floor with high ceilings. The warehouse includes a dry warehouse, chilled area, temperature-controlled warehouse, mezzanine and freezer. The building height is  11 meters, with a wall thickness of 120 mm (for the standard warehouse).
The building has several temperature controlled areas, including +2 + 6 C chilled area, temperature controlled warehouse with + 18 C and the Freezer with – 26 C. The cooling system is built with a heat recovery system.
The building developed and constructed by VGP is an excellent example of sustainable development. It is also the first building in the Baltics to combine geothermal heating solutions, air heaters and solar panels to grant its tenants pure energy independence. This solution perfectly complements VGP’s target to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2025 for its own operations and 55% reduction of  “in use” scope 3 emissions by 2030.
“Despite the turbulent times in economy and construction market, we are happy to deliver this project on time to secure tenant’s future plans of expansion and we’re looking forward to new projects in the market,” adds Andrejs Konstantins, Managing Director of VGP Baltic states.
The VGP developed building will be occupied by EUGESTA - one of the leading logistics and distribution companies in the Baltics, which will move to this new location next year.

“EUGESTA, after a careful evaluation of several spots in cooperation with Colliers, has chosen Tīraines street 11 as the new location for its logistics center and office, attracting one of the largest European logistics center developers - VGP. Together with VGP, we have chosen solutions that exceed the standard in terms of energy efficiency and premises quality (including combined geothermal heating with zero emissions, extra heat-proof building facades and roof, heat recovery technologies for its reuse, etc.), so that in its future  development EUGESTA could provide its services in the most sustainable way. In addition to the modern logistics and office space provided in the building, our employees will have access to spaces for active recreation as well as extensive areas outside of the building,” adds Andris Pimanovs, member of board at EUGESTA.
Thus, premises currently occupied by  EUGESTA at Dzirciema street 119B, Riga will be available for rent. Please see more details on the object by clicking on the link below.
