Total investments in commercial real estate in Latvia reached EUR 341.3 mln last year compared to EUR 394.4 mln in 2015. This amount includes only commercial property worth over EUR 0.4 mln that has been purchased for rent. Investments in development objects and land properties reached additional EUR 82 mln.

The biggest activity was observed in the retail segment, followed by office segment. In 2016 most active investors were EfTEN Capital and Norther Horizon Capital. Also, new investors entered the market, the biggest of them was international investment fund Lone Star.
