Data Center Demand Surges | Cloud computing market increases with big data, Internet of Things, blockchain and ecommerce

We expect data center property values will increase over the next five years, driven by demand from big data, the Internet of Things, blockchain technology and ecommerce. Data centers are an emerging type of investment, as their development tends to be funded by independent real estate investment vehicles like real estate funds and Real Estate Investment Trusts. For investors, data center tenants are financially attractive, offering stable returns due to their longterm leases and high operational risk of relocating data centers. We recommend institutional investors looking for stable returns study the domestic and overseas data center markets, being prepared to invest in advance of demand and before competition increases.
