  • Tell us a bit more about your current role with Colliers.

    At Colliers, I assist clients with the sale or purchase of real estate to maximize the potential of property. For buyers, I find quality assets that suit their needs and guide them through the process until the transaction is completed successfully. For sellers, I provide a strategy to maximize the selling price, conduct a comprehensive marketing campaign and then carry out the process to close the deal.


  • Colliers has just had its most successful quarter tell us a little more about it.

    In the first quarter, we saw a significant shift in market sentiment and the climate feels much more positive now. Both buyers and sellers are more active, and the market is buzzing. We have transacted two large deals, one office asset and one logistics asset; however, my focus has been on strengthening our team and capabilities, so that we can continue to provide exceptional services to our clients to accelerate their success. We have hired two experts from the market, bringing our headcount in the Capital Markets team to six, and we continue to look for more industry leaders to join our team. Colliers is the fastest growing global real estate company in the world right now and our growth plans in Korea are very ambitious.


  • What is your team development plan for this year?

    What sets us apart is our people. Andrew Sohn, an Associate Director who recently joined Colliers, has previously worked with banks, brokerage companies and investment banks, and has a wealth of experience in both domestic and international real estate markets. Jasmine Ahn has a wide range of experience working with domestic and international real estate groups, and has more than 10 years of experience. In addition to being a key member of our Capital Markets team, she supports our Valuation and Advisory team by providing valuation services to all institutional and non-institutional property types in Korea. Kate Kim, a new member of our team in Korea, has extensive experience in problem-solving, market researching, and data analysis. Even though she is new to the real estate industry, I believe she has the full of potential to add value to our team and lead our industry into the future. Our analyst, Miju Kim, majored in real estate and has a lot of experience supporting other senior team members. Finally, Elia Lee, who is focused primarily on outbound investment opportunities, has recently been promoted to Associate Director, which is a testament to both her outstanding ability as well as Colliers’ confidence in her to continue to drive our team forward. As mentioned, I am actively looking for a senior person who can lead the domestic business with our talented team.

Harold Lee has been active in the Korea and Overseas capital & investment sector for over 14 years and his professional experience in the market includes real estates and other real assets.

Prior to joining Colliers, He was a managing director at investment banking group of Hana Financial Investment where he played a key role in growing Hana's overseas real estate business. He led over $1 billion of real estate transactions globally.

Before joining Hana, he was a portfolio manager at major asset management companies in Korea such as Korea Investment Management and DB Asset Management, where he was responsible for managing funds with combined AUM of over $1 billion with a focus on overseas investments.

He was also a director of Financial Advisory Services division of Deloitte Korea where he advised Korean institutional investors on their overseas alternative investments including real estates.
