As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), India & Managing Director, Market Development, Asia, Ramesh drives Colliers India’s overall direction, strategy and growth. He is responsible for developing new client relationships, ensuring consistently superior levels of service delivery, and incubating new specializations. Having worked across diverse asset classes such as office, land, warehousing, industrial, retail, residential, data centers, and hotels advising leading domestic and multinational owners, investors, and occupiers, he aligns all business lines towards the firm’s strategy internally and externally.
He develops a country-wide growth plan, manages revenues, operating expenses, and profitability to drive results, identify trends, and take corrective action. Ramesh also creates our workforce to provide innovative future solutions and help clients define and deliver successful real estate projects of the highest quality. As Managing Director, Market Development, Asia, Ramesh uses his considerable industry experience to add value beyond the boundaries of India and develop services, expand client relationships, and attract other talented professionals to the company. Ramesh also serves on the Colliers Asia Executive Board.
Before joining Colliers, Ramesh served as the CEO & Country Head of JLL India, where he oversaw the work and outputs of ~12,000 professionals working across transactions, consulting, and annuity businesses. During his tenure, he successfully grew the company to record heights. Previously, Ramesh held other leadership positions at JLL, such as COO – India; MD - West India; South India Markets Head; India Head of Land; MD – Industrial; MD – Chennai; and MD – Hyderabad. Ramesh was one of the youngest International Directors and Country Heads of JLL globally. He has also been a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Board of JLL and the J8, a group of JLL’s eight most prominent countries in terms of profits and revenues globally amongst 80 countries.
Easily one of the most recognizable persons in real estate in India, Ramesh is one of the influential thought leaders in the Industry. He has written widely for prominent publications like the Times of India and Economic Times. He frequently appears on business shows across leading business channels such as CNBC.
A firm believer in the value of education, he has been a guest lecturer at prestigious institutes such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Kolkata, ISB Hyderabad, JBIMS, and SP Jain.

Managing Director | Pune
Animesh works as the Managing Director & Head of office services business for Colliers in Pune and is responsible for leading the office consulting business in Pune.
His current responsibilities include, providing end-to-end real estate solutions to corporate clients. His position entails assessing client’s requirements, identifying solutions, negotiating financial and lease terms and providing market Intelligence along with working in a lead role to service the real estate requirements of key clients. His role also includes participation in large business pitches including business development. He understands the international standards followed by global clients in his experience to service clients. He has also been exposed to the local market and has proved competent in successfully winning local businesses .
Animesh has lead and successfully transacted over 5 million sq. ft. of prime office space for corporate occupiers across various asset classes and has structured various transactions for lease acquisitions, renegotiations, asset dispositions, sub-leasing etc. Prior to joining Colliers International, Animesh has a work experience of over 10 years working with Jones Lang LaSalle, NAI Global and Vulcan Group. Animesh has diverse experience in the real estate field with key focus on commercial markets and has also been involved in industrial and investment transactions in Pune.

Kanchana is a highly seasoned real estate professional and one of the senior-most industry leaders in Chennai. Kanchana has close to two decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry in Chennai.
In her long and illustrious career, Kanchana has advised some of the leading global occupiers, owners, and investors on their real estate strategies. Kanchana has held senior leadership roles at Knight Frank, Cushman & Wakefield, and most recently at JLL India, where she headed their office leasing, retail, and data centre businesses in the Chennai region along with leading the landlord representation business for India.
A passionate and renowned industry leader, Kanchana joins Colliers with a focus on business development to build the scale of its transaction service lines in the Chennai region and to drive exceptional results for clients. She will leverage her existing network of strong relationships with leading landlords, occupiers, and global investors to lead client relationship management in the region and expand Colliers’ client base to amplify the potential and reach of the brand.
Kanchana will strengthen the company’s existing transaction service lines in Chennai and also identify opportunities to introduce new service line specialisations by hiring and developing the best industry talent.

Surabhi leads the Office Services business for North India, and is responsible for driving transactions across office, flexible workspace and datacenter assets.
A top-performing expert, this is Surabhi’s second stint with Colliers as she started her career with the firm in 2005. Surabhi has over 17 years of core real estate experience having worked with CBRE, JLL and Colliers in various roles and positions, and driving key responsibilities such as transaction management, business development, strategic tenant relationship management and growing high performing teams.
Based out of Gurugram, Surabhi has a proven track record of driving exceptional results. Surabhi has successfully executed comprehensive commercial real estate transactions across the National Capital Region with a continued focus on generating new business and developing long-term client relationships.
As the head of office services for North India, Surabhi leads client acquisition, business development, transaction management, client strategy development, and account management initiatives. She has successfully managed and led CRE assignments for large corporations such as Apple, Adidas, HSBC, Ernst & Young, Natwest, JP Morgan, Midland Credit, EXL, Expedia, Konica Minolta, Hatch Associates, CB&I and Lummus Technologies to name a few.
Viren Mehta is the Managing Director, Office Services | Gujarat.
Based in Ahmedabad, Viren leads our Office Services business in Gujarat – one of our key markets – to identify new business opportunities to grow our market share in the state. He collaborates with other Office Services and service line leaders to cross-sell and explore new business opportunities.
A well-known name in India’s real estate industry, Viren has more than 23 years of experience in the real estate and banking industries, where he focused on establishing and growing new businesses, implementing end-to-end transactions, and leading operations to drive productivity and maximise revenue. He also has an expertise in conceptualising and implementing successful strategies to acquire new accounts.
Viren joined Colliers from JLL India, where he was the City in-charge and Head of Transactions for Gujarat. Previously, he also assumed leadership roles at ING Vysya and Yes Bank and took on various international assignments with the Equitorial Trust Bank in Nigeria.

Arshish is a senior leader within the Office Services vertical. He heads the Occupier Consulting function and is also responsible for Digital initiatives. He has advised CEOs / CXOs on scenario planning, strategy development and integrating their real estate and business outcomes. His interest in technology leads to a razor focus on two areas, automation of internal processes which leads to a faster turnaround for clients and creating interactive tools / platforms.
Arshish was previously with JLL for about 8 years, where he most recently led the Occupier Consulting Group. In this capacity he was responsible for Portfolio strategy optimization, location advisory, employee engagement and implementing the future of work for key global occupiers. He has also spearheaded numerous growth initiatives for JLL as an office expert, a senior internal strategist to the COO and CEO, operations specialist.

Based in Mumbai, Kunal brings with him more than 13 years of experience in the industry, providing sustainable and customised solutions to his corporate clients, landlords, and institutional investors.
