Kaushik Das holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture from Piloo Mody College of Architecture where he won the Best Architectural Thesis Award in 2014 for his thesis - Behavioural Healthcare Centre - “A Design to cure " and selected among the top 10 thesis in zonal NIASA 2014.He had started his career as a trainee at DKA ( Dutta & Kannan Architects Pvt. Ltd. ) where he assisted senior Architects in several assignments involving the designing, detailing and site inspection of various projects and coordinated with several technical personnel. He then started his journey as a graduate architect in Kolkata at MAVA (Mass & Void Architects) and worked for a year long while gaining a very good experience in bungalow designs and residential works and then moved to
New Delhi, India as a Project Architect in RSA+R204 under Aga Khan Awarded Architect Ranjit Sabikhi to work on various national and international projects.Presently working in Colliers International in Bangalore, India as Project Architect and soley involved in design and construction processes.
Kaushik’s competency is his core designing skills based on sustainability. He focuses mainly on user centric design and low energy consumption.
