Dunboy Castle Hotel and Resort

Dunboy Castle is an 84-bed, over 120,000 square-foot, five-star hotel on a spectacular and historic oceanfront site in West Cork. It is structurally complete and weather sealed and requires non-structural work to complete such as fitting-out and equipping. The hotel incorporates a magnificent historic castle which has been restored to the highest conservation principles and houses the cathedral-like great reception hall, fine dining, bar, lounge and casual-dining areas as well as boardrooms, wedding rooms and meeting areas. Special features include a cellar wine bar and a three-story two-person private dining room in one of the turrets. The castle also contains 11 castle suites and 1 presidential suite of 3,000 square feet with its own spa area. The castle is connected by a flying glazed linkbridge over to a separate suites complex which houses 72 luxury ocean-facing suites ranging from 550 sq. ft. to 790 sq. ft. The hotel also includes a summer courtyard with its own catering area and a luxury spa facility including a gym and treatment rooms and a separate indoor swimming pool. In all, the hotel lands and gardens extend to more than 40 acres.
