Jakarta Industrial Estate Property Market Report, Updates and Forecast Q3 2019

Foreign direct investment from China mainly flew to Vietnam or other peer countries, rather than to Indonesia as reported by the recent World Bank report. This is not a good news for industrial market in Indonesia. Never- theless, the industrial market in the greater Jakarta area (Bogor, Bekasi, Tangerang, Karawang and Serang) still continue to benefit from the expansion activities of their existing tenant. For some years, the industrial companies has generally performed quite well underpinned by the big consumers in Indonesia, particularly from the expansion of companies that need more warehouse or logistics support for their storage and distribution, as well as consumer goods that being daily consumption for this fourth most populous country in the world.
