Bali’s tourism industry is impacted more by natural happenings than political issues, and this was reflected from the drop in last year’s performance and incoming overseas tourists due to Mount Agung’s eruption by the end of 2017. However, we expect an improving performance during the Eid al-Fitr and school holiday in Q2.
Bali already has an agenda for several festivals and events based on routine. Furthermore, the price of domestic flights should be adjusted as soon as possible because it will impact Bali’s domestic market.
