Lasha Tsertsvadze is the Managing Partner of Colliers Legal. Prior to taking up the position of Managing Partner at Legal Collier, he was a Managing Partner at FLS Full Legal Service - a law firm in 2015-2021, where he led and supervised more than 100 litigation cases in various courts or arbitrations in Georgia. Lasha has been a member of the Legal Committee of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2020. He has been a member of the Georgian Bar Association since 2007. In 2006-2011 Lasha Tsertsvadze held the position of Senior Lawyer and Head of Legal Department at JSC Silk Road Bank, and in 2012-2015 he was Head of the Troubled Assets Management Department and headed the Judicial and Enforcement Support, Troubled Assets Management and Real Estate Assets Division. In total, the value of the assets managed by Lasha's subordinate department was more than GEL 50,000,000.

Accomplishments

In addition to his practice and advocacy work, Lasha is an Associate Professor at Eastern European University and Tbilisi Free University. Lasha lectures in Corporate Law, Comparative Corporate Law and Corporate Governance, as well as Banking Law and Claims Law.

Lasha is also a co-founder and trainer of a corporate law reform program developed with the support of German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the East West Management Institute, Rule of Law in Georgia (USAID, East West Management Institute, PROLoG). Since 2022, he is a member of the editorial team of the new Law of Georgia on Entrepreneurs.

In 2011 he became a scholarship holder of a German businessman, the Joachim Hertz Foundation, and received full funding of € 22,000 to study for a master's degree at the Bucerius Law School. And in 2014 he successfully worked on his dissertation within the framework of the Max Planck Institute for International Private Law and Comparative Law (Germany), for scholarships for young scientists.

Lasha is the author of numerous scholarly articles and monographs on the responsibilities of directors, as well as co-author of the Corporate Law Handbook (GIZ) and the Contract Law Handbook (USAID / JILEP).
