Colliers International has acted on behalf of indigo Scott in the acquisition of Devonhurst Place, Chiswick, a 23,000 sq ft South West London office investment unit with residential redevelopment potential. The site was purchased in excess of its £10 million guide price from Blackstone Plc.
Devonhurst Place is an attractive courtyard office scheme arranged as a terrace and vertically divided into six buildings each with their own dedicated entrances and has 30 car parking spaces at basement level. It is situated on the south side of Turnham Green, close to the amenities of Chiswick High Road and benefits from nearby transport connectivity with direct services into major Central London stations and numerous green areas.
Andrew White, Director in Colliers Residential Development division commented: “Located in the affluent west London district of Chiswick, Devonhurst Place is extremely well-suited to conversion to residential use given its courtyard arrangement creating a pleasant and appealing environment alongside the building’s attractive exterior.”
Jon Davis, Development Director at IndigoScott: “In light of recent successes at our Chiswick High Road development, we considered Devonhurst Place an attractive and logical acquisition. Having been eager to expand our portfolio in this location, we worked closely with the Colliers team to identify the opportunity and ensure our success in the bidding process.”
