The Grade II Listed The Crescent Hotel overlooking The Crescent Gardens in Scarborough, North Yorkshire has been sold through the Leeds based hotels agency team at property consultants Colliers International.

Acting on behalf of the former owners, Colliers International has sold the terrace style hotel to The Bloomsbury Property Company (Scarborough) Limited off an asking price of £975,000 (the final sale price is undisclosed).

The Crescent Hotel has 22 en suite letting bedrooms, bar, restaurant and meeting facilities for up to 50 people, catering for both leisure and business visitors in this popular resort town.

Peter Bean, Hotels Agency director at Colliers International commented: “The former owners acquired The Crescent Hotel in 2002 and after 12 years at the helm, looking after this much-loved hotel, they are set to retire. This has given buyers an opportunity to acquire a very well located and long established town hotel and we wish the new owners The Bloomsbury Property Company (Scarborough ) Limited, led by Sadie Shard, every success.”

Director of The Bloomsbury Property Company, Sadie Shard, has worked in Scarborough’s tourism sector for a number of years.
