Colliers International announces that Mr Paul Baxter will take the role of Chief Operating Officer, Asia as of 2 June 2014. This strategic appointment is an integral part of the company’s continued drive to enhance its seamless platform for excellent service delivery and operational efficiency. Mr Baxter will focus on operations and strategic initiatives to execute on Colliers’ significant growth plans for Asia.
Mr Baxter is a seasoned business leader with a history of more than 15 years in the real estate industry. He has worked with many of the world’s leading investor and occupier organisations, among them, AMP Henderson, GE Capital, Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Bank and ICAP.

As the Chief Operating Officer, Mr Baxter will lead all shared services in the Asia region including Research and Advisory, Marketing and Communications, Human Resources/Administration and Information Technology.
Mr Baxter has held a number of positions during his prior tenure with Colliers. Mr Baxter joined Colliers in 1998 as a member of the Major Projects team in Australia, and played a crucial role in the establishment of Colliers' sustainability and technology practice. He became the General Manager of Business Development and Real Estate Management in Australia before relocating to Singapore to play a leadership role within the Corporate Solutions team there.
Mr Baxter will move to Hong Kong from Tokyo, where for the last four years, he directed the Corporate Solutions business for CBRE and oversaw the firm’s outsourced service businesses, including Transaction Management, Portfolio Management and Facilities Management.
