Occupational advice and due diligence on supermarket investment acquisitions is a particular expertise and he is regularly approached by investors and brokers alike to provide specialist advice in this area.
His team of five full time professional surveyors and two consultants deal with retail / leisure rent reviews, lease renewals and regears for landlords and occupiers in all of the major towns and cities in the UK. He also works closely with the agency and investment teams in asset management initiatives, lease restructuring and investment acquisitions and sales.
He is on the RICS panel of independent experts and is regularly called upon to act as third party on high value rent reviews in Central London and throughout the country.

Alex joined Colliers as a Graduate Surveyor following completion of his Real Estate degree at the University of Reading. His first rotation was Retail Lease Advisory, where he assisted the team on a wide array of instructions, dealing principally with retail rent reviews, lease renewals and regears for landlords and occupiers across the UK.
He is now sat within the Portfolio Valuation team, assisting with the regulated valuation of commercial portfolios for institutional investors, funds, local authorities and private companies as well as valuations for company accounts and loan security.

Paul is Director and co-lead of the Retail Strategy & Analytics practice, with 13 years’ experience working with occupiers to grow and optimize their store/branch portfolios. Prior to Colliers, Paul was Global Lead for the ‘Shape of Chain’ real estate analytics proposition at Accenture/Javelin Group.
He advises clients globally on store location and performance optimisation strategies, spanning the occupier spectrum from fashion, grocery and homewares through to F&B, leisure and retail banking (and beyond).
Paul’s experience includes sales forecasting for a US grocer, UK entry and roll-out strategy for an international F&B operator, branch rationalisation strategy for a UK bank, and estate conslidation strategy for a Telco merger.
Paddy is Director and co-lead of the Retail Strategy & Analytics team, with 15+ years’ experience in data analytics and retail strategy.
Prior to Colliers, Paddy co-led the Accenture retail strategy Analytics pillar and had overall responsibility for the Javelin Group Commercial Spaces service line, delivering data led retail property projects focused on new development potential, acquisition appraisals and asset management of existing schemes.
Involved in the locations and customer analytics sector since 2002, Paddy has worked on a wide range of projects covering retailer location strategy, due diligence and shopping centre strategy and acquisition appraisals. He graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Computing.
Emma is a Senior Consultant with over 11 years’ experience in data-led retail strategy. Prior to Colliers, Emma previously worked at Accenture/Javelin Group and Morrisons.
She provides insight and data-driven analysis to help inform strategic decisions making for both retailers, landlords and real estate investors.
Emma has worked with a broad range of clients in the UK and internationally. Clients include Aviva Investors, Hammerson, Intu, Standard Life; and retailers across the occupier spectrum including grocery, fashion, F&B and telco.
