Investment sales and leasing activity continue to slow considerably, as the UK economy is on the brink of a recession. While inflation may have peaked, and the Bank of England has slowed the pace of its monetary policy tightening cycle, the start to 2023 looks challenging.


Highlights in this month's Snapshot include:

  • Preliminary data suggests that investment volumes failed to reach £1 billion in November
  • Further significant outward shift in yields
  • House prices fall for third consecutive month as mortgage rates reach 6%
