Investment sales in Scotland reached £2.2bn in 2021, up 50% on 2020 levels with investor demand improving across all main sectors.
Following two years of pandemic-related disruption, Asia-Pac and Middle-Eastern capital is returning to the UK, which should also help the Scottish CRE market in 2022.

- Quarterly investment volumes reached £760m in Q4 – this is strongest figure since Q1 2018
- Retail investment volumes at three-year high of £530m in 2021, helped by strong demand for retail parks
- Edinburgh and Glasgow office take-up improve on 2020 levels
- Double digit house price growth across many Scottish regions
