This year has been one of the most unusual in the history of our industry as all aspects of our lives have been impacted by COVID-19, and as eyes turn to recovery, our Project & Building Consultancy team alongside our Research & Forecasting team have compiled this report to provide an overview of the London office market in the context of how the wider economy is performing.
We conducted a survey in both Q1 and Q3 2020 to ‘take the temperature of the market’ based on responses from contractors, suppliers and consultants that specialise in the London fit-out sector, helping occupiers to make informed decisions in these uncertain times.
In this report we also look at how leasing activity has been affected over the last six months, and how this is in turn is impacting on fit-out costs and tender price inflation. The situation is ever evolving, and here we provide some clarity that can help inform decision making.
