Staycation surge expected to generate interest in touring park for sale on Lincolnshire coast

The surge in staycation tourism is expected to result in strong interest in a caravan touring park on the Lincolnshire coast that is for sale.

Days To Remember Touring Park is located in an idyllic three-acre rural setting within walking distance of a beach, and within easy reach of the popular resorts of Ingoldmells and Skegness.

The recently-established park has been brought to the market by sector specialist Colliers, with a guide price of £795,000 for the freehold property and business as a going concern.

Senior surveyor Robert Smithson said that Days To Remember Touring Park has already attracted a high level of bookings despite having been developed recently.

“High demand is forecast for the UK staycation market in coming years, and this will undoubtedly drive interest in this highly appealing park, which has been skilfully developed in a way that will enable a new owner to focus upon operating and growing the business,” he said.

“A new owner could choose to operate it as a successful traditional touring caravan park, or as a low maintenance seasonal touring caravan park. Whatever business model is adopted, there is also the additional benefit of substantial owner’s accommodation in a five-bedroom bungalow with a large private garden and driveway.

“The current owners are selling because they had always intended that developing and operating the touring park would be a short term project for them.”

Days To Remember Touring Park has a site licence to operate 36 units between 15 March to 31 October (or half term if this falls in November).

There are currently 36 luxury hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes, all with independent water and electrical connections. An amenity block provides ladies and gents WCs, wash hand basins and showers.

The spacious five-bedroom bungalow that is the owner’s accommodation is double glazed and has a large, newly fitted kitchen and dining room. There is potential to split the accommodation into a four-bedroom family home plus one-bedroom annexe with a separate kitchen and bathroom.
