Colliers International appointed alongside CWM on the 92 acre Howard de Walden estate

Colliers International has been appointed to join CWM on the retail and leisure leasing team for the 92-acre Howard de Walden Estate as it signs up a series of new brands at London’s Marylebone Village.

Paul Souber, Head of Colliers’ London Retail Agency team commented: “Marylebone Village has real personality, and the Howard de Walden Estate has curated a marvellous mix of shopping, food and leisure.

“We’re extremely excited to be working with the team to bring new brands to the village and to continue its strong reputation as a unique London environment.”

Recent lettings have included eyewear brand, Ace & Tate, which has taken 39 Marylebone High Street, due to open in November, and Scandinavian fashion brand, Tiger of Sweden, which opened at 86 Marylebone High Street in September. New arrivals which will join the village’s range of places to eat and drink later in the year include deli/restaurant concept, The Italians on Devonshire Street; and Home at Marylebone in the old Coco Momo site on Marylebone High Street– a new all-day dining offer.

Rob Kirk, Head of Retail & Leisure at The Howard de Walden Estate, commented: “It’s encouraging to see – even in these difficult times – that Marylebone Village is still a preferred destination for great brands and exciting food & drink offers.

“We want to enhance continuously what the village has to offer, and this year has already seen new openings for brands including Allbirds and Sirplus, while the superb Japanese restaurant, Taka, has also recently opened its doors on the High Street.

“The appointment of Colliers International will bring a new dimension to our leasing capabilities. It has a dynamic team which advises on many of London’s best-known destinations, and its Retail Strategy team will also provide valuable data insights that can help our future strategy.”
