Colliers staff were out and about last week supporting local businesses as they celebrated a return to the office following the lifting of the Government’s work from home guidance on 19 July.
To celebrate a gradual return to the workplace, Colliers partnered with a handful of local eateries across the UK, giving staff a £10 ‘Colliers Coin’ which could be spent in selected cafes and eateries close to their respective offices.
Lydia Ings, HR Director said: “Cafes, bars and restaurants are the glue that give the cities we work in life, and they have fought hard to keep afloat over the last 18 months, throughout various lockdowns. Not only have we missed socialising with our friends and colleagues in the office but we’ve also missed the vibrant cities we work in, so what better way to celebrate our return to office life than by launching Colliers Coin.”
“It was great to see the queues of staff, spending their Colliers Coin locally last week and bringing much needed custom back to the vital businesses that surround our offices.”
In line with the Government’s decision to ease restrictions over the summer period, Colliers is planning for a gradual return to the office between July and September, with a new Agile Working framework introduced to allow for a greater balance between office and home working, depending on different role profile across the business.
