Colliers has represented Labtech at Hawley Wharf Camden as nine retailers sign up to the mixed-use scheme which opens over the August bank holiday.

George Collison at Colliers commented: “It is fantastic to have secured nine new names at the development. Opening to the public for the first time this weekend, we are excited to introduce the unique mix of retailers, leisure and F&B operators to residents of Camden and visitors alike.”

Cult skatewear brand, Scum, leads the raft of new retail signings, with a circa 800 sq ft flagship store fronting onto Chalk Farm Road. It will stock the brand’s full range of apparel, skateboards, and accessories, and will be looking to have limited edition drops that will be unique to this store.

Joining them at Hawley Wharf Camden will be 100% natural, vegan, and organic skincare brand, SknFed. Sitting alongside will be well-known men’s and women’s luxury streetwear brand Marbek, who will be working in collaboration with exclusive footwear specialist Mr Sneaker. Menswear and homeware brand, Article, will also be opening with lines from the likes of Patagonia, Folk, Carhartt-WIP, and Universal Works, as well womenswear boutique Sugar + Style, adding independent, fashion-led flair to the emerging development.

Included in the recent signings is natural fabric clothing and accessories specialists, Manomay, Koko Art, and bespoke children’s fashion brand Josiah Amari will be expanding into a railway arch with a custom boutique.

Jonny Perkins, Retail Asset Manager at LabTech added: “Our vision for Hawley Wharf Camden is to create a complete eco-system where Londoners and visitors from near and afar can come to work, live and play. The retail offer among our estates across Camden has always been unique and different, so it is our duty to the London community to ensure a dynamic retail mix for Hawley Wharf which creates a whole new destination in Camden. This selection of retailers does exactly that for Hawley Wharf Camden.”

Hawley Wharf Camden’s canal-side development is set to be a major attraction in North London, serving Camden’s 30 million visitors a year. The wharf includes nearly 200 new homes, 60 places to eat – with two new rooftop restaurants – and more than 150 shops and new co-working offices.
