Luxury Cotswold Hotel and restaurant announces search for new owner

Corse Lawn House hotel is on the market for £2.5million.


An 18-bedroom quintessentially English country house hotel in Gloucestershire is being marketed by commercial real estate specialists Colliers. 

Originally built in the mid-1700s as a former coaching inn, the elegant Grade II listed building sits behind a ornamental lake and is surrounded by over 10 acres of landscaped gardens and leafy green fields. Corse Lawn Hotel also contains a bistro and bar for 40 covers, restaurant for 40 covers, garden room for 40 covers and two private dining rooms, one seating up to 14 guests and the other seating up to 32 guests.

The hotel has numerous amenities such as indoor swimming pool with changing rooms, hard-court tennis court, croquet lawn, staff accommodation, three-bed detached owners’ bungalow, beer and wine cellars and extensive parking available on site. Owned and run by the Hine family, producers of Hine Cognac, for the past 44 years, the hotel has received a multitude of awards, including AA Top 200 rated hotel, recent winner of Country Hotel of the Year in Good Hotel Guide, OpenTable Winner of Diners Choice 2016, AA Award for Notable Wine List 2019 and Certificate of Excellence in TripAdvisor. After almost five decades of operating the business, the owner has decided to place the hotel on the market to retire.

Corse Lawn House is perfectly situated just west of the M5 and within one hour’s drive from Bristol, Swindon and Birmingham. The hotel provides easy access to Cardiff and tourist hot spots including the honey-coloured stone villages of the Cotswolds, The Forest of Dean, Wye Valley and Malvern Hills.
