Wain Estates releases land for sale at The Meadow, Carrington Village

25 03 22 The Meadow Wain Estates hero

Wain Estates has released the first openly marketed residential development opportunity within The Carrington Estate. The Meadow extends to approximately 14.45 acres and forms part of Carrington Village which obtained outline planning consent for 320 new dwellings, 668,000 sq ft of employment space and 12,917 sq ft of retail/health uses in 2020.

The Meadow is located within the north-western part of the wider Carrington Estate which comprises circa 1,665 acres and is set provide a mix of industrial, logistics, manufacturing, office and residential development, alongside new community facilities as part of an ambitious masterplan set to transform the area.

Acting on behalf of Wain Estates, JLL and Colliers are inviting offers from housing developers who can demonstrate an exemplary track record of acquiring and delivering high quality developments on similar opportunities.

“The Meadow offers an exciting opportunity for a housebuilder to be at the forefront of designing a new vibrant neighbourhood in a core location with immediate transport links via well serviced bus routes, with Flixton railway station less than two miles away and easy access to the regional network of motorways.” said Jack Brister, Development Director of Wain Estates.

Trafford Council is due to submit a planning application in 2022 for the Carrington Relief Road, which will intersect the Carrington Estate and further improve road connectivity and motorway access.
