The latest series of the Take 10 with Colliers has today launched on Earth Day, with a specific focus on sustainability in property.
This is the third series of the Colliers podcast which started last year, and features property management head of client strategy Holly Brown as the host. Holly will be talking to a wide range of guests with specialist knowledge of delivering net zero carbon building projects and look at how ESG is influencing decisions for investors and occupiers alike.
A qualified chartered surveyor, before transitioning to client relationship roles, Holly previously worked in hotel and retail investment. She joined Colliers in 2017 and works with clients to achieve their business strategies and enhance portfolio value through our capital markets and property management services.
She said: “ESG is the most pressing topic of conversation among all our clients right now. The pandemic has highlighted that the smartest, most sustainable buildings will attract the top occupiers and their workforce, so it made sense for us to create a series dedicated to real estate’s environmental and social impact.
“We’ve got a great line up of guests from investors, to developers and occupiers who are truly passionate about reducing our industry’s impact on the climate. We could honestly talk to our guests for hours, but we are giving our listeners a quick ten-minute taster, hoping this will spark a conversation in their own organisations and encourage them to make positive change.”
The first episode in the series features Matt Flood, Head of Occupier Markets at Landsec, who talks about how they are achieving net zero carbon design, construction and future operation of The Forge development. The season will also see Holly speak to Sophie Carruth, Head of Sustainability Europe at LaSalle Investment Management, and Lee Leston-Jones, Partner at global consulting engineer firm Cundall and others.
