RedCat acquires the Crown Hotel in Boroughbridge

21 02 22 RedCat acquires the Crown Hotel hero

RedCat Inns has made its latest acquisition of the Crown Hotel in Boroughbridge in a deal brokered by Colliers.

The former coaching inn features 37 bedrooms, which have undergone refurbishment in the last two years, and a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, fitness suites and sun shower, is the latest hotel the commercial real estate firm has sold to the growing hospitality group.

Last year RedCat Inns purchased New Dungeon Ghyll in the Lake District and Manor House Hotel in Dorset through Colliers and now operates 24 inns across the UK.

Julian Troup, head of Hotels Agency at the firm said: “We’ve a strong reputation amongst hotel proprietors who trust us to market their properties, and discreetly if needs be. The Crown Hotel has a strong reputation, with the traditional inn feel, with modern rooms as well as modern spa facilities.

“Last year we sold 76 hotels many for individual private clients, some to growing big brands as well as many to new starters in the hospitality sector thanks to the staycation boom.”

The hotel will be operated by RedCat's subsidiary, the Coaching Inn Group.
