Industry expert joins Colliers from JLL to drive ESG delivery
Andy Mercer has joined Colliers to lead the ongoing development and implementation of a market-leading ESG strategy for the firm’s property management clients in the UK and across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Andy has a strong track record in the industry, joining from JLL where he was Head of Energy Services. At Colliers, he will be Head of ESG for the UK and EMEA within the Property Management team working with Andy Hay, Managing Director of Property Management in EMEA and Mark Jarrett, Head of Property Management in the UK.
Andy’s most recent experience involved working with ambitious landlords and investors to improve the long term value of real estate investments and mitigate the risks associated with climate change through sustainable strategy development and implementation.
Commenting on his appointment to Colliers, Andy said: “My ambition is to help guide the property sector in reducing its climate impact by focusing on the economic benefits of delivering sustainable strategies and carbon reduction initiatives.
