Colliers International joins forces with Turnaround Management Association to host a series of real estate restructuring webinars to help companies respond to the challenges of COVID-19.
Colliers International, in conjunction with the Turnaround Management Association UK (TMA) has launched a series of interactive webinars entitled “Real Estate Restructuring Strategies: Beyond COVID-19”. These will examine a cross-section of property market sectors to explore how businesses and their stakeholders can respond to and manage the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Over the course of the next few weeks, these webinars will cover topics and feature expert panellists in sectors including UK retail, office, automotive, development and real estate finance markets. The aim is to provide a rounded analysis of the current activity within the industry and offer an outlook for each sector.
Nick Hammond, Head of Advisory & Restructuring, who is moderator for the events, commented: “We are very pleased to have launched this initiative of web events in partnership with the TMA and are delighted that it has been so well received.
“We are acutely aware of the enormous challenges faced by many businesses and their stakeholders at the current time, so we are delivering this series of interactive events to provide guidance and support wherever we can – and perhaps most importantly, to encourage dialogue between stakeholders while helping to identify constructive solutions.”
Peter Stevens, UK TMA President added: “TMA was delighted to have partnered with Colliers International on this excellent initiative of theirs. The substantial interest shown in the event by the number of attendees is a testament to the quality of the event. In these strange times, many businesses are looking for guidance from individuals with real insight into what is happening in their particular markets and this webinar did not disappoint. We are very much looking forward to continuing this partnership with Colliers.”
The series launched on Wednesday 20 May with Hotels & Hospitality to an audience of over 350 guests, including independent hoteliers, lenders, investors and business advisors.
