Hurr opens its first festive fashion rental store on Kings Road, London

15 12 21 Hurr opens its first festive fashion rental store on Kings Road London hero

Acting on behalf of fashion rental marketplace Hurr, Colliers has secured its first seasonal concept pop-up store, a 3,000 sq ft space at Cadogan Estate’s 114 King’s Road, enabling customers to rent their party wardrobes for one night only, seven days a week until Christmas Eve.

The concept store will feature Hurr’s most in-demand categories, from micro-minis to silky maxis, evening jackets and fur coats from brands including Shrimps, Vampires Wife, Ganni, Sleeper, Saloni, Olivia & Alice and Isabel Marant.

Customers will be able to visit the concept store, rent an item and return it the next day. All garments will be dry cleaned and refreshed on a daily basis.

Alongside being able to rent clothing, the concept will also house a selection of curated sustainable gifts, eco events, live panels and workshops from Stories Behind Things, alongside an on-site repairs station by Sojo, and pre-booked make-up appointments.

Lizzie Knights, in the Central London Retail team at Colliers who let the space to Hurr added: “The fashion rental scene is currently witnessing significant growth and recognition, particularly with sustainability being so high up on the news agenda. We are really excited to be working with Hurr to deliver its fashion rental concept in the lead up to the festive season on the Kings Road, helping residents, office workers and tourists alike dress more sustainably this Christmas.”

Victoria Prew, CEO at HURR added: “ Every year, 1.7 million sequined items are binned after the Christmas party season that won’t ever biodegrade, so we're sharing a simple message that rented sequins don't sparkle any less.

This store is the ultimate pre-party destination…no strings attached! Our festive pop-up really is a one-stop Christmas party shop.

This pop-up store is Hurr’s second physical space in London, following the launch of its concession in Selfridges in August 2020.

The Hurr pop-up will be open from 17 November to 24 December at 114 King’s Road, London, SW3 4TX.

Opening times:
