Colliers has strengthened its South East presence with the appointment of Willem Janssen, as lead director of the South East Offices team.


The move marks a return to Colliers for Willem who spent the last two years client side as Leasing Director for Emerson Group’s 500,000 sq ft South East Office portfolio, giving him a unique client perspective. A seasoned director with 28 years of real estate experience, he specialises in advising clients on office space from inception through to occupation and eventual disposal.

In his new role at Colliers, Willem will continue to drive the team’s robust performance, identifying key growth areas and advising clients on positioning their portfolios to achieve their ESG ambitions. The appointment is the first in a series of strategic hires for the team which is strengthening its capacity and depth of service following a string of new client mandates.

I am responsible for media relations and generating coverage in top tier broadcast and print media. I work across a range of Colliers’ UK & Pan-EMEA business lines advising on their strategic and tactical PR needs.

My role includes:

·         Developing and executing PR plans for the various business lines to help promote their key messages across all aspects of the media - print, broadcast and social.

·          Media evaluation and reporting objectives, targets and successes across the business.

·         Reputation management and crisis management.

·         Media training.

·         Media engagement: setting up meetings with top tier media and various internal spokespeople to continuously expand and build a presence with property and vertical media network.
