One last unit is available to let at Carrington Gateway, a major redevelopment by HIMOR of the former Shell refinery in Carrington, Manchester.

Following strong occupier demand there is now only one available unit to let at Carrington Gateway, a major redevelopment by HIMOR of the former Shell Chemicals plant in Carrington, Manchester.

Carrington Gateway, is a  212,129 sq ft new-build, detached manufacturing and warehouse development located on the Manchester Road (A6144) It is the first phase of commercial development at HIMOR’s Future Carrington project consisting of six new-build detached industrial warehouse units ranging in size from 10,925 to 103, 968 sq ft.

Unit 6, a 10,925 sq ft plot comprising a 10,021 sq ft warehouse and a 904 sq ft office is the last remaining unit being marketed by Colliers International’s and JLL’s Industrial and Logistics teams for £7.50 per sq ft.

John Sullivan, Head of  Manchester Industrial and & Logistics’ team commented: “Carrington Gateway is based in a highly accessible and strategic location in south west Manchester, 15 minutes from Manchester Airport, 20 minutes from the City Centre, within three miles west of junction 8 of the M60 orbital motorway and with easy access to the M56, M62, M6 and M61 motorways.

HIMOR’S Future Carrington project is one of the largest regeneration schemes in the Northern Powerhouse. The full site is proposed for 11,500 new homes and eight million sq ft of employment development over the next 20 - 30 years. Development will be supported by substantial investment in transport, social and green infrastructure, including a new link road to the M60 so this is a great opportunity for a new occupier.”

Developer HIMOR’s scheme is being marketed by Colliers International and JLL
