Grade-II* listed Salisbury hotel acquired by expanding hospitality business.
Milford Hall Hotel and Spa has been sold to the expanding hospitality business Zarfeen Group & Investments in a deal brokered by the specialist Hotel Agency team at Colliers.
The commercial real estate firm marketed the Georgian former manor house in Castle Street, Salisbury, of off a guide price of £3.5million, on behalf of Hughes Hotels, who has owned the property since 1998.
Simon Hughes said: “During 25 years of ownership we have taken Milford Hall from a small local hotel in Salisbury, and through extensions and improvements have made it a well-respected business with a boutique spa on site. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved thanks to the hard work and dedication of our staff. As I now move into retirement, we wish the new owners every success in their stewardship of Milford Hall.”
Located just ten minutes from the historic city centre of Salisbury, the hotel which in parts dates back to the 1800s is a popular wedding venue and includes a function room with 130 covers. It also has a 30 cover restaurant, as well as adjourning bar and lounge areas, which cater for private dining, and space for 40 parked cars within its one acre footprint.
