Colliers attracts top investment talent

Colliers International continues to expand its National Capital Markets division with the appointment of Peter Arduino and Matt Chambers.

Arduino, who formerly headed up CBRE’s Portfolio Capital Markets and Industrial Investment teams for over nine years, joins Colliers as a director. Meanwhile Chambers joins as an associate director, having spent the past five years working in CBRE’s Investment Properties team.

John Knowles, head of national capital markets for Colliers International, said: “Peter’s in-depth knowledge of investment markets and his property company and agency background, alongside Matt’s solid disposal and acquisition track record, will be invaluable in providing our clients with opportunities to take advantage of exciting market prospects in 2019 investing in substantial portfolio deals, and creating long-term investment returns through asset management and disposal strategies.

“These latest appointments are further evidence of our commitment to strengthen our national capital markets business across the UK with the appointment of experienced real estate specialists and follow on from the launch of our debt advisory team in the second half of 2018 and senior hires in Scotland and Yorkshire, as we also welcomed directors Elliot Cassels and Ben Hall to Colliers at the end of last year.”

The pair have worked on several major portfolio transactions over the 18 months, including the disposal of a retail portfolio for Topland for £420 million and the sale of Telereal Trillium’s Hayhill Portfolio for £280 million.
