The key themes of innovation, sustainability and adaptation are at the heart of Colliers’ latest issue of its in-house retail magazine Browse, which examines how retailers, landlords and those in the F&B industry are adapting to the challenges of post pandemic life.
The articles in Browse include interviews with Will Murray and Jack Croft, the chefs behind Fallow – a new restaurant in Mayfair that takes a sustainable approach to produce and minimising food waste. We also speak to Sweaty Betty’s CEO Julia Straus to find out what is next for the athleisure brand following its acquisition by Wolverine World Wide last year. Blogs from our experts on how to value a supermarket and the importance of retail repurposing are also included; providing unique insights into the retail landscape.
Last year was an exciting one for the Colliers Retail team with high profile instructions such as the appointment by The Howard de Walden Estate on Marylebone Village and the ongoing work with Sky to create new physical concept stores. We welcomed a new Retail Strategy & Analytics team which will provide key insights for both landlords and tenants as they get to grips with more data-driven strategies.
David Fox, co-head of UK Retail at Colliers, comments: “As always Browse magazine provides us an opportunity to take stock of the work we are undertaking across the UK and the key themes we are seeing in the market. It also allows us to get exclusive insights into the minds of market leaders helping us understand how the retail landscape will change in the near future."
