The Piazza Shopping Centre in Huddersfield has announced Helen Worrall and John Webster as joint Duty Centre Manager.

The announcement follows the news that Vernon O’Reilly, is leaving at the end of August after 11 years of outstanding service. Vernon will be joining The Media Centre at Northumberland St, Huddersfield.

Jonathan Powell, from real estate advisory firm, Colliers said: “We are sad to be losing Vernon and his experience both within the Centre and the wider Huddersfield retail community, however we are pleased that his skills are being retained within the town and that he will continue to be a valuable asset for Huddersfield and the wider Business Improvement District.

“Vernon’s role will be taken on by Helen and John who are already based at the Piazza Centre and an integral part of its operational team. Helen and John have a vast depth of knowledge, and their familiarity with both the property and the tenants means they are already up to speed, ensuring a seamless transition.

“We would like to thank Vernon for his commitment and dedication to the Centre and wish him all the best in his new role at The Media Centre.”

Helen and John are both full time and will share the position of Duty Centre Manager.
