4,000 sq ft central location at new development has been snapped up by concept.
Colliers’ London Restaurants team has secured The Spread as the latest F&B concept at Hawley Wharf Camden.
The Spread, a London-based food market operator, has agreed to let a 4,000 sq ft site in the heart of the development which will be home to more than 40 independent traders. Having already operated markets in Finchley, Hackney, Southbank and Camden, The Spread has been on the scene for around five years and partners with start-ups and established brands from across London to provide a range of food and drink options.
George Collison in the London Restaurants team who represented Hawley Wharf Camden, commented: “The aim for Hawley Wharf Camden is to create an all-encompassing ecosystem for the local community. The Spread is very important piece of the puzzle, providing a local farmers’ market promoting independent food and drink producers.”
Bordered by Chalk Farm Road to the west and Regent’s Canal to the east, with a prime frontage on Camden High Street, Hawley Wharf Camden’s canal-side development is set to be a major attraction in North London, serving Camden’s 30 million visitors a year, equivalent to around 80,000 visitors every day prior to lockdown.
