Babsou purchased office complex from Tulip Property situated at Prof. J.H. Bavincklaan 1-3 in Amstelveen
21-12-2015 - The office complex comprises of approx. 15,800 sqm of office space and at least 330 parking spaces. The high-rise building (14 floors) will be transformed into a hotel. The low-rise building (7 floors) will be partly occupied by the Business Center which is still located in the adjacent office building (approx. 3,000 sqm). Approx. 3,500 sqm of the low-rise building will be refurbished in short stay apartments. Babsou has entered into a very long-term lease agreement.
The business center will be operational on April 1st, 2016. The hotel and short stay will be put into operation at the end of 2016. Because of this transaction approx. 12,000 sqm will disappear from the office market and a new vivid function will be added to the office area of Kronenburg.
During the sale process purchaser Babsou was advised by Colliers International (commercial adviser) and Corten de Geer (legal adviser). Westerdok Notariaat acted as civil-law notary. Seller Tulip Property was represented by Van Dijk & Ten Cate (commercial adviser) and Simmons en Simmons (legal adviser).
