Achray House Hotel, which overlooks Loch Earn in the village of St Fillans, on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, has been sold. The sale marks the retirement of former owners Alan and Jane Gibson, who have handed the baton to South African couple Bradley and Zelda Sol. The purchase price for the eight-bedroom hotel, which also features three adjacent lodge chalets, was not disclosed but selling agent Colliers International confirmed that it was close to the asking price of offers around £675,000.

Achray House Hotel has won widespread acclaim for its service and high standards. The holder of a coveted Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, the hotel's facilities include a conservatory restaurant, lounge bar, residents’ lounge and a decked terrace, with spectacular views of Loch Earn.

Following an extensive search across several regions, new owners Bradley and Zelda Sol, have moved from South Africa to take over the running and operation of the Achray House Hotel. Bradley has extensive international business experience, having previously owned a guesthouse and leisure centre, a specialist retail marketing agency, while also advising a range of companies as a turnaround consultant. Zelda, a qualified chef, has worked as an innovation specialist, marketing lecturer and scientific researcher, before focusing on her passion for food.

Alistair Letham, a director with selling agent Colliers International, commented: “The Achray House Hotel, which trades on a seasonal basis, is a well-established and profitable family run hotel. Its range of accommodation is a delightful lifestyle business, as well as an excellent home. New owners Brad and Zelda Sol are excited about the challenge of running the hotel business in this picturesque part of the North West Perthshire Highlands."
