Colliers Sells Black Bull Hotel, Lauder
Property News - Colliers Sells Black Bull Hotel, Lauder
Colliers International has sold the Black Bull Hotel, in the heart of the historic Border town of Lauder, on behalf of Perthshire Taverns Limited.
An historic coaching inn, adjacent to the main A68 Edinburgh to Newcastle road, the Black Bull traces its origins back to the late 18th century. The new owners, Lanark Road Property Limited, will continue to operate the hotel and business at 13-15 Market Place, which features eight letting bedrooms, bars, lounge, restaurant and function room, under the existing tenancy arrangement.
Alistair Letham, a director with selling agents Colliers International, commented: “The Black Bull Hotel is an attractive property in the centre of the village of Lauder. It has in the past traded at an excellent turnover level and profitability and there is no reason why it cannot revert to this level of business.”
The purchase price of the Black Bull Hotel, Lauder was not disclosed.
